About Us

One Community,

One Vision.

Building on a lifetime of public service, Unity For Equality was founded on the simple belief that everyone deserves a chance to succeed, everyone has a responsibility to act, and we all do better when we work together.

Our Story

We change the world one community at a time.

Unity For Equality is a non-for-profit community based organization. Our mission is to empower and integrate underserved communities and other immigrants into the civic and economic life.

We assist individuals and families in the areas of advocating for social justice, boosting civic engagement, educational opportunities, healthcare access for all, and  senior support services.

Education

Education – When it comes to education we at Unity For Equality aim to achieve the goal “No Child Left Behind”. When it comes to preparing students for college by providing test prep courses, providing college scholarships, aiding in student loan repayment aid, career readiness courses.

Health

Health – Healthcare is a human right not option, where Unity For Equality believes that everyone should have access to healthcare regardless of their financial status without having to worry about medical bills.

Environment

Environment – Hearing about violent storms to ice blocks melting we must realize it is time to act to take proper action to save our planet from pollution where we aim to advocate for renewable energy.

Finance

Finance – With finance stability being a grave concern in today’s world we look at counseling individuals and families going through a financial crisis. Specially those individuals who went through college with huge amounts of student loan debts.

Civic Engagement

Civic Engagement – As an organization serving the communities Unity For Equality aims at focusing on civic knowledge and engagement which are critically important to our communities. Our objective is to motivate the youth to engage in the community.

Senior Support Services

Senior Support Services – Seniors are the backbone to our communities and ensuring that they deserve to be taken care of in every way from obtaining benefits from Medicaid to Medicare whether it be transportation services or accessing long-term care.
